Plan Netflix Major Ultraman Movie to join the Beginner Anime Series
Netflix has worked with the production of Tsuburaya to make computer-animated films based on Ultraman, the same subject of the relatively new anime series. Netflix efforts can bring Ultraman to a global audience, build decades of popularity in Japan. The company noted that the film will introduce new storylines and new characters.
Ultraman was introduced to the audience in 1966 by the production of Tsuburaya. A number of sequels followed the original series for decades, and Universe Ultraman became an icon in Japan and a number of other countries, although still relatively unknown outside Asia. Netflix’s efforts can change it.
In 2019, Netflix released the first season of his Ultraman anime series and even though the time passed, he had a planned second season. Joining anime will be a long feature film, according to Netflix, which announces a new project on Twitter.
Tsuburaya Productions has released a description of the upcoming film, stating that Baseball Star Ken Sato will return to Japan to continue his work as an ultraman, but things will not be as expected. Ultraman will finally raise the newborn Kaiju, his descendants “from his biggest enemy,” forced him to take into account his father and his own father.
Shannon Tustle has been tapped to direct CG films, while Marc Highimes serves as a writer. Industrial lights and magic will be behind the animation, while Netflix will release it to a global audience – even though the company has not revealed when the film will prime.
