PS5 VR leak instructions in the next upgrade Next model
At the end of March, Sony confirmed that it worked on the next generation VR PlayStation headset which will be launched at several points for the PS5 console. Even though we still lack many official details today, Sony does reveal the upcoming controller with the next VR version, which will spend the same type of innovation visible with a dualsense controller.
Sony said that when the PS5 VR product controller will display things like adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, tracking, and finger touch detection – not to mention a much more mature design. The company has nothing to say about the actual VR headset, however, leaving a lot to speculate about the type of increase that will be brought.
The new leak has appeared in the upload VR where the report claims that the next generation Playstation VR headset will bring a substantial increase over the current version, including a resolution of 2000 x 2040 per eye, gaze tracking to facilitate fovial rendering, haptic feedback motors, and dial adjustments for lens.
These details are reportedly sent from Sony to their partners, facilitating leaks – though, of course, the company has not confirmed this is what we can expect from its generation products. The model will, per Sony’s previous announcement, can be transferred in nature and you will need a PS5 console to power on.
The cable connection will take place via USB-C and there will be, as you would expect from a modern VR headset, a camera built that tracked the controller. With that voice, the owner of Playstation 5 can expect the experience of virtual reality no different from what you get from competing cable headsets. Prices and information on availability remain unknown.
