Scrubs and Grey’s Anatomy stars unite in first look at Netflix’s Firefly Lane
Anatomy and Scrub Gray came together in the form of actress Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke, as a hospital swap pair for Firefly Lane.
New Netflix Drama Firefly Lane Stars Heigl, who played Dr. Izzie Stevens on Gray’s, and Chalke, who starred in Elliot Reid on a scrub, as the old friend of the old Tully Hart and Kate Mulerkey.
The show includes several decades, with the main star decorated in aging make-up for some scenes, with drama suggesting that “the biggest love story of all can be among friends”.
Netflix has dropped a new teaser trailer for the show, which you can watch above, and it promises a lot of warms of the heart and a fair tear part.
“You will never be alone. You’re f ** king stuck with me forever,” Tully told Kate at the beginning of the trailer, before we saw a shot from the best friends dancing, hugging and helping each other through disaster across the disaster of the course of three decades.
The official synopsis of the show reads: “When it can’t be duo Tully and Kate meet at the age of 14, they can’t be more different. Tully is a rough and brave girl that you can’t ignore, while Kate is a shy girl that you never noticed. But when A tragedy brings together them, they are bound to life – forever an inseparable friend.
“Together they experienced 30 years of tidal – victory and disappointment, heartbreak, and joy, and the triangle of love that tensed their friendship.
“One continues to wealth and extraordinary fame, others choose marriage and motherly – but for decades, their bonds remain – to face the final test.”
Teenagers Tully and Kate are played by men at Ali Skovbye’s high castle star and Witch actress Roan Curtis, with the players also featuring Ben Lawson Ben Lawson who was appointed, the man in Yurman Yurman was good and Beau was a good Garrett.
Firefly Lane is based on the novel with the same name by Kristin Hannah, who also serves as a manufacturer of co-executives at the event, with Heigl actresses also among executive producers. Maggie Friedman Eastwick functions as an exhibition.
